Frequently Asked Questions

Is it necessary to have a referral to access services?

No, a referral is not required to access our services.

Can we use NDIS funding?

Yes and no.  We are currently only able to support individuals with self-managed NDIS plans that include therapeutic and/or capacity building nutritional health supports for improved daily living.

We are in the process of applying for NDIS-provider status and will be able to support individuals with plan- or NDIA managed budgets once granted.

Are Medicare rebates available?

No, Medicare rebates are currently not available for Clinical Nutritionists.  We look forward to positive changes in this space in the years to come.

Can we use Private Health Insurance?

If your private health insurance cover includes Nutrition, you may be able to use your insurance to cover some or all of the cost of services by our Certified Practicing Nutritionist. We encourage you to contact your insurance provider for more information.

Is a medical Autism Spectrum Diagnosis required to access services?

No, a medical diagnosis is not required.  Personalised nutritional therapeutic intervention aims to support and optimise nutritional health outcomes independently from the diagnosis with a nutrigenomic data driven and person-centred approach.
